At least five people were reported killed in a drone attack, which took place near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Kurram Agency.
According to sources, the strike targeted a house near the border in Kurram Agency- one of the seven tribal agencies in Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas – following which five bodies were recovered from the rubble, according to local sources.
A militant commander was also reportedly killed in the drone attack.
However, it is yet to be ascertained whether the attack took place within the territorial limits of Pakistan or Afghanistan.
