Law enforcement agencies have arrested a most wanted Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist, Bashir along with 5 associates.

According to Pakistan army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Bashir was wanted in attack on Army Public School in Peshawar.

It is also claimed that Bashir prepared the suicide jackets used by terrorists during the APS attack. Bashir was arrested from Kurram Agency near the border. Bashir is a master in preparing suicide jackets and bombs. The wanted terrorist’s brothers Abdul Haseeb and Fazal also work for Tehreek-e-Taliban.

ISPR further added that security forces  have also arrested 4 terrorists during a search operation from North Waziristan’s area of Zurmuk based on leads from intelligence information. 2 terrorists were arrested from the Zurmuk’s market area while 2 others were arrested from a nearby compound where they were in hiding.
