Law enforcement agencies detained former Senator Faisal Raza Abidi in Karachi late on Friday at his residence and shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
According to sources, Faisal Raza Abidi was taken into custody from his residence located in Karachi’s New Rizvia Society late Friday night. Law enforcement agencies also conducted a thorough search of his house before taking him into custody.
Police also claimed to have recovered firearms from his house during the raid, adding that Abidi has been shifted to an unknown location for interrogation.
Faisal Raza Abidi was a PPP representative as well as a former senator, who resigned from the senate in 2014.
