For those unfamiliar with the connection, Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan were not only teammates on the iconic Chicago Bulls basketball team but also close friends during their careers in the 80s and 90s. Despite this, a rivalry surfaced between the two, becoming publicly known when Scottie voiced his grievances in his 2021 memoir, “Unguarded.”
He accused Michael of downplaying his NBA history in the widely-watched documentary, “The Last Dance.”
