Speculation about the status of Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s relationship has surged following Pippen’s recent actions on Instagram.
The 49-year-old star of “The Real Housewives of Miami” fueled breakup rumours over the weekend by unfollowing Marcus Jordan, 33, and deleting all his photographs from her profile.
Adding to the speculation, Pippen posted a poll on her Instagram Story asking her followers, “Should your friends unfollow your ex?” accompanied by a clip of Morgan Freeman discussing the importance of listening to one’s “inner voice.”
PEOPLE magazine did not respond to requests for comments from Pippen’s representatives, and attempts to contact a representative for Jordan also remained unfulfilled.
Pippen and Jordan’s acquaintance began in 2019 at a Los Angeles party through mutual friends, where, as Pippen once shared with PEOPLE, they laid “a great foundation as friends.”
Their friendship appeared to evolve into a romantic relationship by 2022, evidenced by their lunch outing in September of that year, despite Pippen’s initial dismissal of dating rumours during an interview at BravoCon 2022 in October. “We’re friends,” she maintained. “We’ve been friends for a few years, and that’s really what it is. We’re friends.”
However, in January 2023, the couple publicly acknowledged their romantic involvement after being photographed kissing in Miami Beach, Florida. Shortly after that, PEOPLE claims that multiple sources confirmed the nature of their relationship.
In August, amidst engagement speculation spurred by a video Jordan posted showing Pippen with a prominent diamond ring, the couple addressed the rumours on their podcast, “Separation Anxiety,” denying plans to marry.
The duo recently competed on season 2 of Peacock’s “The Traitors,” a psychological reality competition series hosted by Alan Cumming, where Jordan was “murdered” in the third episode and Pippen “banished” the following week, further spotlighting their dynamic beyond personal interactions.
