Lahore: The Lahore police on Sunday after heavy fire exchange killed at least three militants.
According to a senior police official told reporters “Policemen in a raid on a suspected militants safe house, in Daroghawala, where terrorists were reported to have been holed up. The outlaws opened fire on the cops giving rise to a fierce gunfight. Three enemies of state were dead at the end of the shootout,”
The officer also claimed that tow of the militants have been identified, one of them is identified as Qasim Rafique, who was associated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP) Punjab wing. The other militant has bee identified as Hafeez, who, we are pretty sure, was one of those gunmen who had attacked Sri Lankan cricket team’s bus in Lahore in 2009,” .
Police has seized suicide-bombing jackets, explosives, hand grenades, and guns.
