Kushal Tandon has confirmed his relationship with Shivangi Joshi, with whom he co-stars in the daily soap “Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka.” After months of speculation and dating rumours, the 39-year-old actor has opened up about their relationship, stating they are “taking it very slowly” and not rushing into marriage.
In a recent interview with the Times of India, Tandon expressed his feelings: “I am definitely in love. We are taking it very slow. My mother is quite eager for us to get married, joking that if it were up to her, we’d be married today.”
Earlier in May 2024, both Tandon and Joshi refuted rumours of an engagement. The speculation was initially fueled by a News18 report claiming the two were an item. A source close to the couple remarked, “Both of them are very private people and, therefore, want to keep their relationship away from the public eye. They might announce their relationship when they feel the time is right.”
Following this, Joshi addressed the rumours indirectly through a cryptic Instagram Story, noting, “I love rumours. I always find out amazing things about myself I never knew.”
Tandon also took to Instagram to clarify the situation, especially about the engagement rumours, with a humorous and bewildered post: “Hey media folks! Let me tell you something, I’m getting engaged and I didn’t even know about it??? I’m here in Thailand, training in martial arts. How do you guys do this? At least verify the news properly, my brothers. Who are your sources anyway?”
The confirmation comes after the two actors have been linked through their roles in the popular television series, showcasing their on-screen chemistry to their off-screen lives.
