Three soldiers were martyred, and two terrorists were killed in Kurram, Arawali, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is seeing a new wave of terrorism.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said forces confronted terrorists in Kurram district’s Arawali area bravely and efficiently.
The military’s media wing said weapons and ammo were also retrieved from the slain terrorists.
ISPR: “The region is being sanitized to eliminate terrorists.”
In a statement, the military stated the Pakistan Army is “committed to destroying terrorism,” and such sacrifices enhance our determination.
In recent weeks, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have seen a series of terror strikes.
ISPR confirmed that the martyred soldiers include
- Subedar Shuja Muhammad, 43, from Khairpur
- Naik Muhammad Ramzan, 32, from Khuzdar
- Sepoy Abdul Rehman, 30, from Sukkur
