Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority has also issued a weather alert after receiving an updated forecast from the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
A westerly weather system is expected to enter the western parts of the country from Monday and intensify by Tuesday morning. Under its influence, rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, along with snowfall over hilly areas, is likely across most parts of Balochistan.
Authorities have urged residents in vulnerable areas to take precautionary measures and follow official advisories.
