Kim Kardashian, the reality TV star known for appearing on magazine covers and vast social media following, has faced criticism from fans and detractors over the years.
Recently, the 42-year-old came under fire after posting a series of Instagram photos that seemed to show changes to her face, captioned “light elegance. Skin prep.”
Her followers were quick to notice and express their confusion in the comments, with remarks such as “Well, this is a new face,” “Another new face, looks different,” and “Debuting a new face, I see Kimmy.”
However, Kim shifted her focus from criticism to advocating for a prisoner on death row. Taking to Twitter, she called on her fans for support: “Richard Glossip requires our assistance immediately! He is scheduled to be executed on May 18 for a crime he did not commit and has been on death row in Oklahoma for 24 years.”

Glossip was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of Barry Van Treese, carried out by Justin Sneed. In addition, Glossip was found guilty of paying Sneed $10,000 to commit the crime.
Kardashian, pursuing a legal career and an open supporter of prison reform, has used her social media presence to pressure authorities to halt Glossip’s execution.
