Kia Motors has raised the price of the Stonic to Rs 6,028,000 after temporarily reducing it to Rs 4,767,000 to stimulate sales.

Initially, Kia dramatically reduced Stonic’s price from Rs 6,280,000 to Rs 4,767,000, attracting budget-conscious buyers but frustrating earlier purchasers.

#KiaMotors has announced a substantial price increase for its #Stonic crossover, now priced at Rs 6,028,000. This follows a recent discount campaign that had temporarily reduced the price to Rs 4,767,000, aimed at boosting sales.@KiaMotorsPKhttps://t.co/TrTC0zBTOB

The discount led to a surge in demand, causing Kia to pause bookings temporarily.

Kia has resumed bookings for the Stonic at an increased price, though the exact figure has not been released, and it is expected to exceed Rs 4.7 million.

Starting July 1, new orders will be scheduled for delivery no earlier than December 2024, requiring a partial payment of Rs 2.5 million at booking.

Kia guarantees the price for orders paid partially for December 2024 and January 2025 deliveries. However, any fluctuations in the Pakistani rupee or changes in import duties and taxes will be charged to the customer upon delivery.
