The Karak Rescue 1122 ambulance attack has sparked nationwide outrage after terrorists ambushed a medical evacuation vehicle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel.
According to security sources, the incident occurred on February 23, 2026, in the Karak district. The victims were being evacuated following an earlier assault when the ambulance was intercepted and set on fire.
The Karak Rescue 1122 ambulance attack followed an initial strike on the Qila Shaheedan post. Militants reportedly launched a quadcopter drone assault targeting the Federal Constabulary.
After the attack, two Rescue 1122 ambulances reached the site to evacuate the injured. While one vehicle managed to escape, the second was ambushed during transit.
