At least three gangsters in Karachi’s troubled Lyari area were killed during a surprise encounter with the rangers overnight. The criminals were wanted by police.
According to details, the paramilitary troops were busy with an overnight raid in Lyari area of Raxor Lane when some outlaws opened gunfire at them. In the ensuing exchange of gunfire, at least three criminals were killed by the paramilitary rangers
The gangsters were identified as Azhar alias Buddha, Waseem and Hassam. According to the rangers spokesman, the criminals hailed from Baba Ladla group.
They were involved in multiple crimes of a heinous nature. including kidnapping for ransom, murders and extortion mafia activities.
