Unknown gunmen shot and murdered two policemen earlier today within the precincts of the Sachal Police Station.
According to police, four men on two motorcycles sprayed Ali Raza and Jaffar with bullets and fled the scene after collecting the official arms of the cops.
The police have found nine casings of bullets fired from 9mm gun from the crime scene. Taking notice of the murders, the Additional IG Karachi has suspended the SHO of the Police Station for negligence.
At least 80 policemen including traffic wardens have been killed in what appeared to be targeted attacks in different parts of the city this year.
