Karachi’s weather is forecasted to stay dry for the next 24 hours, with cold nights approaching. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) indicates that temperatures could fall to 11°C, continuing the decrease from previous days.
The PMD reported a minimum of 12.4°C Karachi’s temperature during the last 24 hours. Winds from the northeast are blowing at 10 kilometres per hour and are expected to continue intermittently. The humidity level in the air currently stands at 28%, contributing to the cool, dry atmosphere.
Weather Update for Quetta and Balochistan:
Quetta and its surrounding areas are experiencing overcast skies, with extremely cold and dry conditions prevailing. The northeastern districts of Balochistan are also enduring severe cold, with temperatures plummeting to the extent that water on roads and drains has frozen.
The PMD predicts that most districts in Balochistan will continue to face cold and dry weather, with mountainous regions remaining particularly frigid in the coming days. No immediate relief from the freezing temperatures is anticipated.
Residents of Quetta, Kalat, and Ziarat are grappling with additional challenges, including low gas pressure, which has created significant difficulties for households amidst the freezing conditions.
While Karachi’s temperature drops at night, with temperatures expected to drop to 11°C, Quetta and Balochistan face harsher conditions. The freezing weather in these regions highlights the need for preparedness and resilience as winter intensifies. Stay tuned for further updates on weather conditions.
