Karachi: Law enforcement agencies conducted a sting operation in Karachi area of Defence late Saturday and arrested a police officer in connection with an abduction case.
The arrested officer, ASI Farhan hails from police department’s Special Branch. He has duty at Airport Surveillance.
The sources said the law-enforcers are interrogating ASI Farhan in connection with a case of kidnapping for ransom at an undisclosed location.
According to sources, the raid was conducted after clues were found during investigation into a kidnapping case.
