Karachi police shot dead a robber in an encounter and arrested two suspects during raids in different parts of Karachi.
According SSP Central Muqaddas Haider, police personnel carried out a raid at Federal B. Area and arrested an activist of an outlawed organization named Mohammad Sarfaraz. The suspect is said to be involved in carrying out sectarian and political attacks.
Haider also said that Sarfaraz is also involved in the killing of four policemen and three employees of a private television channel.
Police shot dead a robber in an encounter at Defence area of the metropolis whereas the slain robber’s accomplice managed to escape from the scene.
In an another targeted operation, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) nabbed a suspected criminal named Adeel alias Vicky from Defence area of the city. Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) sources said that the suspect is said to be involved in the trade of illegal weapons.
