Karachi police arrested six suspects during raids in different parts of Gulistan-e-Jauhar attacking women.
According to East SSP Samiullah Soomro, the arrested persons resemble the accused. However, he added, the suspects were being probed over the matter.
In the last few days, Gulistan-e-Jauhar area has been the victim of knife attack on women.
According to police, so far, at least nine women have been attacked in the similar manner.
In the recent attack in the wee hours of Saturday, a woman was stabbed after getting out of a rickshaw near Mosamiat. She then headed to a nearby hospital for treatment in the same rickshaw.
