Weed, or cannabis, contains psychoactive compounds like THC, which causes a “high,” and CBD, used for medical purposes. Its recreational and spiritual use is widespread, but illegal in Pakistan, prompting strict enforcement.
This significant drug bust underscores escalating drug issues in Karachi. The court’s prompt action demonstrates a zero-tolerance stance on illegal cultivation. Continued investigations may reveal larger networks that affect community safety.
