Karachi police’s investigation revealed that on the tip of a private bank’s security guard, criminals stole Rs. 5 million from a private firm owner in PECHS Block 6, Karachi.
On November 16, a firm owner withdrew Rs.5 million from a private bank, and three burglars stole the money when they reached the company garage in PECHS Block 6.
Tipu Sultan police have arrested the robbery suspect. Investigation revealed that on Khawar Khan’s tip, the three accused robbed a customer after he withdrew money from a bank. The apprehended suspects claimed they were tipped by the security guard, who was on duty at the bank.
Tipu Sultan Inspector Uzma Khan said the security guard on duty gave the information to accused Shakir, aka Shahid, who chased the citizen from the bank with 2 accomplices.
Khawar Khan revealed that Shakir alias Shahid is linked with a Landhi political group. Inspector Uzma Khan explains that Khawar was detained before and met Shakir in jail.
Khawar Khan said Shakir had visited FTC with two buddies the day before and offered money for a tip.
The accused alleged Rs. 5 million was stolen on his information, but Shakir told him on call that only Rs. 2 million was stolen; when he sought his part, Shakir turned off the phone.
