Kanye West Makes Headlines by Following Taylor Swift on Instagram

Kanye West, the 47-year-old rapper known for his unpredictable social media antics, has made a head-turning move by following Taylor Swift on Instagram, making her the only account he follows amid their well-documented turbulent history.

This peculiar choice comes as West becomes active again on social media. He frequently changes his social media behaviour, from extensively posting about his wife, Bianca Censori, to clearing his profiles. His decision to follow Swift is particularly intriguing given their long-standing feud, which famously began at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech.

Swift, who is in a high-profile relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, has not reciprocated the follow, adding more intrigue around West’s motivations.

This incident coincides with the release of West’s latest album, “Vultures 2,” which subtly references Swift and Kelce in the track “Lifestyle (Demo).” In it, West raps, “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” explicitly naming the pop star and her boyfriend, highlighting the continued complexity of his references to Swift.

Moreover, West’s recent social media behaviour includes controversial comments, such as a lewd remark about Kamala Harris, suggesting he would have pursued a sexual relationship with her until she lost the 2024 Presidential Election to Donald Trump.

These actions continue to fuel discussions and speculation about West’s public and digital persona, leaving fans and observers puzzled over his latest social media strategy and its implications on his personal and professional relationships.
