The funeral prayers of Junaid Jamshed will be offered today (Thursday) at Moin Khan Academy Ground DHA, Karachi.
According to JJ’s wish, he will be laid to rest at Dar ul Aloom, Korangi.
Maulana Tariq Jameel will offer his funeral prayers and address the participants of the funeral.
JJ’s mortal remains was brought to Karachi on Wednesday evening from Islamabad through C-130 plane.
Earlier, funeral prayer was offered at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Nur Khan Base, Rawalpindi. It was also attended by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, senior civil and military officials, and people from all walks of life.
Maulana Tariq Jamil, brother Humayun Jamshed and close friends and family members also attended the prayers.
Borther of JJ, Humayun Jamshed while talking to media in Karachi said “ I used to think I am his only brother but people of Pakistan have proved the otherwise. I now realise, he was a brother of every Pakistani,”
