Chief Justice of Pakistan adjourned the hearing on alleged vote-rigging in 2013 general elections till Monday.
In today’s hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, ordered all political parties to submit evidences of election malpractice and list of witnesses by Saturday (April 25).
Today’s hearing was attended by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan and representatives of other political parties.
The CJP issued notices to MQM and PML-N to submit their replies in the inquiry.
The commission deferred its ruling over PTI’s application in which the party requested the panel to call 13 bigwigs including former caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Najam Sethi as a witness in the rigging probe.
PTI Chairman, while speaking to reporters, siad that he had requested the commission to seal National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) forensic report on 37 constituencies.
