They need to use DOGE for this.” He criticized Zegler’s political comments during the press tour, calling it a misstep. “Tell her to skip the politics; it’s about the movie,” he joked. Ziegler later apologized for contributing to “negative discourse,” admitting that her emotions had gotten the better of her.

Actor Peter Dinklage had famously opposed casting actors with dwarfism, further intensifying the controversy.
