Joint Investigation Agency (JIA) today formally launched an inquiry into Model Town tragedy which left 12 workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) killed in deadly clashes with police on June 17.
The JIT recorded statements of officials and other policemen involved in the clashes.
The probe team also asked for provision of footages from all TV channels. The team will further the investigation after seeing footages and recording statements.
