Jessica Alba revealed her split from her husband, Cash Warren, through an Instagram post, indicating that she is embarking on a new chapter centred on her children.
In her post, Alba reflected on her personal growth and her journey with Warren. I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years individually and with Cash,” Alba wrote. She expressed pride in their growth as a couple over the past two decades and acknowledged that it was time for them to grow as individuals.
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren first met in Vancouver in 2004 on the set of the superhero movie “Fantastic Four,” where Alba starred as Sue Storm and Warren was a director’s assistant. The couple married on May 19, 2008, and have three children together: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7. They celebrated Hayes’ seventh birthday earlier in January.
On New Year’s Eve, Alba hinted at changes in her life, describing her year as “filled with connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy, and so much love.”
In September 2021, she discussed managing her business empire, parenting, and marriage, noting the importance of expressing individual needs to prioritize their relationship.
In a July 2021 conversation on Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s Instagram series, Alba spoke candidly about balancing parenting duties and her marriage. She acknowledged that she and Warren often found it tough to allocate time for each other, stating, “It’s hard. It’s impossible.”
Rumours of their separation began circulating last week after a report by a Hollywood news portal leading up to Alba’s official announcement.
