Jennifer Lopez has unexpectedly cancelled the final seven shows of her “This Is Me…Now” tour, leaving fans bewildered.
The cancelled dates included performances in Nashville, Raleigh, North Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa, Florida, and New Orleans. Ticketmaster’s website has been updated to reflect these cancellations, with previous announcements for Cleveland and Houston shows also being withdrawn.
The tour is now set to conclude on August 17 in New York City, with the cancelled shows initially planned for August 20-31. The reason behind the cancellations remains unspecified, with Ticketmaster attributing the decision to the “event organizer” and hinting at possible rescheduling due to logistical issues, as reported by Page Six. Jennifer Lopez has yet to address the cancellations publicly.
Concerns around Lopez’s career have been amplified by the underwhelming performance of her latest album, “This Is Me…Now,” which debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200. Critics have labelled the album “uninspired,” pointing to its focus on Lopez’s relationship with Ben Affleck.
In her recent documentary, also titled “This Is Me…Now,” Lopez made a heartfelt revelation about her fears of being alone and her struggles with self-esteem and psychological abuse. This candid moment offered fans a glimpse into the personal challenges she has faced beyond the glamour of her public persona.
