Jennifer Lopez revealed a rehearsal accident on Instagram. She sustained a cut across her nose while preparing for her high-profile return to the American Music Awards (AMAS) on May 26, 2025, at BleauLive Theatre in Las Vegas.

As reported by People, the injury, which sparked concern among fans and left dancers shaken, hasn’t slowed the singer. She updated followers on her recovery with ice and Dr. Diamond’s care, ensuring her role as host and performer remains on track. It marks a decade since her 2015 AMA hosting debut.

Lopez’s cryptic Instagram post, “So…this happened,” accompanied a photo of a fresh nose cut, prompting speculation about a stage prop mishap or choreography slip, per Entertainment Weekly. Without detailing the cause, she reassured fans a week later, stating she’s “good as new” with ice treatment, credited to celebrity dermatologist Dr. Diamond.
