Pakistan Super League’s newest franchise, Hyderabad, has appointed Jason Gillespie as its head coach ahead of the upcoming season.
Media reports confirm that negotiations between Gillespie and the Hyderabad franchise concluded successfully, leading to a formal coaching agreement. The former Australian fast bowler will now oversee the franchise’s coaching setup for its debut campaign.
Gillespie brings extensive international and domestic coaching experience to the role. In April 2024, he joined the Pakistan setup as head coach of the Test team, working alongside Gary Kirsten, who led the white-ball sides.
