Before interacting with the IDB president, PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude to the Managing Director (MD) of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, for the IMF’s approval of a $3 billion loan for Pakistan.
In a tweet, Sharif outlined how the approved Stand-by Agreement was a crucial stride in the government’s mission to stabilize the economy and achieve macroeconomic stability. He highlighted how this development would provide fiscal space for the next government to navigate future economic challenges.
