Islamabad police have officially disclosed the arrest of Ahmed Waqas Janjua, the International Media Coordinator for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The arrest was made under serious allegations, which has drawn significant attention. According to the statement provided by the investigating officer in court, explosive materials were found in Ahmed Waqas Janjua’s possession at the time of his arrest.
Furthermore, he is alleged to have connections with banned organizations. Due to the gravity of these accusations, the investigating officer requested the court to grant a physical remand for further investigation and potential recovery of additional evidence.

In response to this request, Judge Tahir Abbas Supra of the Anti-Terrorism Court approved a 7-day physical remand for Ahmed Waqas Janjua. The court has ordered that he be presented again on July 29 for further proceedings.
