Islamabad LB polls to be held on Nov 30 announces the ECP

“Local government polls in Islamabad capital territory will be held on November 30”, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) officially announced earlier today.

According to the schedule issued by the ECP, the process of submitting nomination papers will start from October 24 and will continue until Oct 27.

Scrutiny of nomination papers will begin on Oct 31 and will continue until Nov 4, while the final list of contesting candidates and their symbols will be published on Nov 11.

The results of the election will be announced on December 3.
