Islamabad Police have arrested suspects caught on a viral video assaulting women near F-9 Park. The violent incident, which occurred last month, prompted swift action.
A Sunday X post from the police confirmed the arrests, noting that the suspects are now in judicial custody. Following a case filed against them, a court approved a three-day physical remand before sending them to jail.

The video, recently trending online, showed a man and his group attacking women near F-9 Park. Per the First Information Report (FIR) dated February 23, filed with Dawn.com, the suspect blocked the victims’ car near McDonald’s.
The complainant, a mother, said he and his friends assaulted her and her daughters—pulling their hair, dragging them, and stealing Rs120,000 and 10 tola gold—before fleeing with death threats.

The FIR lists charges under Pakistan Penal Code Sections 341, 354, 392, and 506, covering wrongful restraint, assault on women, robbery, and intimidation.
