In the same vein, Musk remarked on the confusion between Marvel’s Iron Man and DC’s The Joker by saying, “But one is Marvel and the other is DC. Oh no, not more irony.” This comment followed a fan’s observation about the mix-up, prompting Musk to reiterate his humorous stance.

Previously, Musk engaged in banter about acquiring the left-leaning, legacy media network MSNBC after Donald Trump Jr. humorously proposed the idea. Trump Jr. suggested Musk consider buying MSNBC, which was reportedly up for sale by Comcast. Musk’s light-hearted inquiry, “How much does it cost?” echoed his previous interactions on social platforms before he acquires X.

Following Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 presidential election, Musk was named to co-lead the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. Trump stated that Musk and Ramaswamy would provide “advice and guidance” from outside the government, collaborating with the White House and Office of Management and Budget to implement large-scale structural reforms.
