The interior ministry suspended the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) manager based in London.
The interior ministry said the Nadra manager took finger prints machine to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Secretariat in London. However this facility can only be availed by the ailing and the elderly people.
According to sources, the manager also confessed to sending the Nadra crew to take Altaf Hussain’s finger prints. Reacting to the incident, the government decided to suspend and recall him to Pakistan.
