The Interior minister has denied rumor receiving a footage from the captors showing Ali Haider Gilani, the son of ex-prime minster Yousaf Raza Gilnai is alive.
The ministry issued an official statement stating. “Please be advised that it is not appropriate for the media to impute the disclosure of receiving the said video or its details to Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan”
Earlier Interior minister, Chaudhry Nisar, during an informal chat with the media, gave a hint at receiving an idea about the video released by the abductors.
The ministry also took a strong exception to whatever was spoken in the video. “The statements made in the video are misleading. So it should not be taken for granted but with a pinch of salt”,
