Interior Minister Chaudary Nisar condems Modi’s “hot pursuit” statement

Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Tuesday, blasted Indian politician Narendra Modi for vowing a hot-pursuit to bring Indian underworld don Dawood Ibrahim from Pakistan.

The Bhartia Janata Party’s (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Saturday told an Indian news channel that he would bring the disreputable don back to India from Pakistan, where he was hiding, if he came to power. “I am not saying this as a member of the BJP, but as a professional cop who has dealt with organised crime for several years. It should not be a difficult task,” said Modi.

Ch Nisar vehemently condemned Modi’s statement as absolutely irresponsible.

“This is outrageously brazen. He should think twice before issuing a statement that involves Pakistan”, said he.

He said that Modi had better refrained from confusing Pakistan’s peaceability with cowardice.

He demanded of Modi to disclose where Dawood Ibrahim really was?
