Indian soldier kills fellow troops in Kashmir

An army statement said the soldier, part of the Rashtriya Rifles unit, “opened fire with his service rifle on fellow soldiers who were in a room,” killing five and wounding another. “Subsequently, he committed suicide by firing at himself,”before dawn on Thursday while on duty at the gate of an army unit in the Indian-administered portion of Kashmir.
