India and Pakistan should engage in further dialogue: US State Department

The US has expressed concern over the LoC situation between Pakistan and Indian.

The statement came after firing and shelling along the line of control on Monday in which five people were killed and another 11 sustained injuries.

Talking to reporters in Washington, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said “We continue to encourage the governments of India and Pakistan to engage in further dialogue to address these issues,”
