Indian authorities have detained an estimated 35 Pakistani nationals for having incomplete documentation while traveling in the Ramdevra District of Rajasthan, Indian media reported.

Indian media quoted police as saying that Pakistani citizens were detained because they did not have a visa for Rajasthan, adding that they had visa only for Mathura and Haridwar.

Ramdevra police officials officials said the higher authorities have been informed about the arrest and action would be taken as per the instructions.

The arrested Pakistani nationals were planning to visit the Baba Ramdev Temple where the Samadhi of Baba Ramdev stands.

They belong to Umerkot, Mirpur Khas and Tharparkar districts of Sindh.

These Pakistani nationals have been detained two days back after Pakistan announced it had detained a RAW agent from Balochistan.
