Money chargers are of the opinion that foreign remittances are higher for the last two months. Pak rupee has gained some strength against the US dollar and remained stable for the last couple of months despite higher import bills and enlarging current account deficit.
Since past one week dollar rate is below Rs105 and market experts believe in a further reduction in the dollar price. During the Feb 2014 the inflow of remittances was considerably higher than the last seven months. Experts also believes that If inflow of remittance continues for another one quarter, it could lead to a total of $16 billion at the end of this fiscal year.
