The Lahore High Court issued a written order to recover anchorperson Imran Riaz, directing all agencies to recover and present him in court by May 30.

The court said no one had appeared on behalf of the Ministry of Defense, and no report had been submitted, while the police requested an additional 3 to 4 days to recover the missing person. The court directed all agencies to take measures to recover the missing person and present him in court by the next hearing on May 30.
On May 19, the Lahore High Court instructed the police to present progress by May 20 regarding the case of anchorperson Imran Riaz’s recovery. Since his arrest on May 11, there has been no information about Imran Riaz Khan. He was arrested during protests and tensions following the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Several other journalists were also arrested.
