The Imran Khan telephonic call with sons was facilitated following a directive from the Supreme Court, according to reports citing prison sources. The development marks a significant update in the ongoing legal and custodial matters involving the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder.

Sources said that Khan was permitted to hold an extended phone conversation with his sons, Qasim and Suleman, who are currently in London. The call reportedly lasted around 20 minutes.

His sister, Aleema Khan, confirmed the update publicly. She stated that her brother was pleased to speak with his children after a prolonged period without direct contact.

The Imran Khan telephonic call with his sons was arranged after the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan directed jail authorities to allow him telephonic access to his children.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan had directed that Imran Khan be allowed to speak with his sons. We can confirm that he was able to speak with them for approximately 20 minutes. His sons shared that he was extremely happy to hear their voices after such a long time.

According to reports, prison officials complied with the court’s instructions. The move came amid broader discussions about Khan’s legal status and custodial conditions.

Aleema Khan shared the development on the social media platform X. She described the call as a positive step but emphasised that other issues remain unresolved.

Health Concerns and Treatment Request

In addition to confirming the phone call, Aleema Khan raised concerns about her brother’s health. She said the family is awaiting his immediate medical treatment at Shifa International Hospital.

She further stated that the family seeks treatment under the supervision of their personal doctors. According to her remarks, delays in medical care have affected his vision.

Aleema alleged that urgent treatment is necessary to prevent further deterioration. She urged authorities to ensure timely medical attention.

However, official confirmation regarding specific medical diagnoses or treatment timelines has not been publicly released.

The recent phone call has added a new dimension to the evolving situation. While the court order enabled communication with his sons, broader legal and medical matters remain under scrutiny.

Observers note that developments concerning the PTI founder continue to attract national attention. Further updates are expected as legal proceedings and administrative decisions unfold.
