Despite all hurdles, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan led thousands of his supporters towards Islamabad from Lahore, pledging to ‘liberate Pakistan from ‘Pharaohs’ through his party’s ‘Azadi March’ on the Independence Day.
“Don’t join this march for me, but your next generations. This march will liberate Pakistan from Firons and will make it prosper and independent country. The independence is not granted in a plate but it’s to be snatched with battle,” said Imran Khan while addressing his workers outside his Zaman Town residence in Lahore before setting off the 370-km journey.
“Don’t be afraid of heat and container, I will lead you to Islamabad… A new sun of liberty will rise tomorrow,” Khan hoped.
