As promised, PTI Chief Imran slept on the stage. In the morning Imran Khan along with most of the PTI leadership left for his residence located in Bani Gala for breakfast. Earlier, Imran Khan along with virtually the entire PTI central leadership had left the venue to go and sleep at their respective residences. It was a decision for which he was severely criticized as a large number of his followers felt abandoned by his behaviour.
To compensate for his earlier lapse of judgement, the PTI’s chief spent his night along with the participants of Azadi March, while sleeping on the stage. It should be mentioned here that the PTI’s sit-in formally commenced from 3pm on Saturday.
The PTI chief slept for over three hours at the venue with his workers, who are present on the Kashmir Road, Islamabad. some are busy with breakfast and some others are still sleeping as of this point in time.
