Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that Pakistan is deprived from true democracy by (what he termed) “status quo” parties.
Addressing to the participants of Azadi March at D-Chowk in Islamabad, Imran Khan said western countries are progressing today because of “true democracy”.
He further added that “In western countries even animals enjoy more rights as compare to the people of Pakistan”
Imran Khan lambasted PEMRA on suspending license of ARY News and declared it an illegal actions.
He alleged that PEMRA has now become” Gullu Butt”.
“Democracy didn’t allow one to restrict media from bringing truth to the people”, said Imran.
