A murder case has been filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, and senior party leaders concerning the deaths of Rangers personnel during a PTI protest at D-Chowk.
The First Information Report (FIR) was registered at Ramna Police Station in Islamabad, listing Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi as the main suspects.
The FIR, initiated by a complaint from a Sindh Rangers official, asserts that the incident was orchestrated in Adiala Jail. It claims that Imran Khan directed the killing of Rangers personnel involving senior PTI figures.

According to the FIR, the scheme was formulated during meetings between PTI leaders and certain inmates, aiming to target security forces.
The document also names several witnesses to the conspiracy, including prisoners, labourers, and secret police personnel within the jail. It alleges that the PTI leadership, including Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin, Umar Ayub, Waqas Akram, Salman Akram Raja, Murad Saeed, Zulfi Bukhari, Rauf Hassan, Hammad Azhar, and others, collaborated to execute the plan.
Moreover, the FIR accuses Bushra Bibi and other leaders of inciting the public through a video message, calling for resistance against the army and government, thus promoting rebellion and violence.
This development intensifies the legal pressures on Imran Khan and his party, who are already facing allegations of inciting violence and fomenting civil unrest during their demonstrations.
