Imran Khan warned on Saturday that if the government adopted cheap tactics to stop his planned D-Chowk protest tomorrow “then democracy will be in danger.”
Addressing a press conference a day before the anti-rigging protest in Islamabad, Khan said that the government has sealed the entire area but PTI workers will still reach the venue.
He said that he has directed PTI workers to stay peaceful but they will reach D-Chowk come what may.
Responding to a question, he said that there is no security threat adding the government is unnecessarily creating an atmosphere of fear.
“Nobody can stop the start of the movement to create a new Pakistan in which transparent electoral system will be in place,” he said.
