Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday summoned the reply from the city administration over imposition of Section 144 in the federal capital.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had filed a petition seeking the lifting of Section 144 in Islamabad.
A single bench of IHC comprises of Justice Athar Minallah heard the case.
Eight trade associations from Islamabad have also filed a petition pleading the court to restrain the PTI from staging a rally at D-Chowk on November 30.
The bench after hearing the arguments of the lawyers summoned a written reply from the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad by tomorrow (Friday).
