The IESCO power suspension schedule has been announced for several areas in Islamabad and surrounding regions due to maintenance and development work.
According to the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), electricity will remain suspended in multiple feeders across Rawalpindi, Attock and GSO circles on Saturday.
In the Rawalpindi Cantt. Circle, power will remain suspended from 06:00 am to 11:00 am in Dk. Farman Ali and Tipu Road feeders.
In the Attock Circle, electricity will be unavailable from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm on the Fawara Chowk, Tanaza Dam, Gul Muhammad, Gagan, Laniwala, City-II, Sajjad Shaheed, and Nescom feeders.
Additionally, supply from Khan Abad, Small Industrial Estate, Pour Miana, Lala Rukh, Gudwal-I, Gudwal-II, Garhi Afghan, Shahia and Munir Abad feeders will remain suspended from 06:00 am to 02:00 pm.

In the GSO Circle, power supply will remain closed from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm for 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City–Palandri lines. Meanwhile, the 132KV T/L new Wah Bahter More and the surrounding areas will be suspended from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm.
IESCO stated that electricity may be restored earlier if maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule. The company apologised for the inconvenience caused to consumers.
Separately, IESCO reported a major crackdown on electricity theft. The company apprehended 5,929 power thieves and imposed fines totalling Rs. 503.4 million.
The campaign, conducted in coordination with police authorities, led to the arrest of 2,950 individuals.
